DIY Kingston Presents
For this month’s DIY Kingston Presents show, we’ve got two new, great Kingston-based bands: Easy Sweetheart & SWIMMERS @ Keegan Ales on October 16th! The dream grunge band Easy Sweetheart is fronted by Chloe Cannon (of Bluestone Quarry & Ladies of the Valley) and backed by my buds Andrew Blot (drums), Jake Offermann (guitar), and Simon Mandic (bass). Their debut EP/LP is still in the works, but you can get a preview of their sound on their Instagram. We played a show with them at Night Swim a few months ago and they put on an amazing show. SWIMMERS is a fuzzy indie garage rock band that have caught my eyes and ears recently. Their sound is right up my alley. Check out their self-titled EP that they released in May. Psyched for y’all to hear these awesome new local bands!
